Donald T. Okner graduated from Irvington High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He graduated from St. John’s University School of Law receiving his J.D. degree in 1971, when he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar.. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1978. In 1994, he was admitted to the Colorado Bar. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Sussex County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Defense Association. Mr. Okner has been an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association since 1981 and serves as court appointed Arbitrator in the Morris/Sussex Vicinage. He served, on active duty, in the United States Naval Reserve from 1972 to 1974. He is indexed in “Who’s Who in American Law, 9th Edition.” In 1983, Mr. Okner was certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
