Daniel L. Martin graduated from Hamilton High School in 1946. He received his A.B. degree from Rutgers University in 1950, “Magna Cum Laude,” Phi Beta Kappa. He was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, serving in the Air Force Strategic Air Command as an Electronics Countermeasures Officer from 1950 to 1953. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1955, and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1956. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the United States Supreme Court in 1972. Mr. Martin practiced corporate law as an associate and partner in New York firms from 1956 to 1980. He served as Secretary and General Counsel to the American Football League from 1996 through 1970. Mr. Martin was Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of several corporations from 1980 through 1993, and has been Counsel to Dwyer Connell & Lisbona since 1972. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and Essex County Bar Association.
