Donald T. Okner graduated from Irvington High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He attended St. John’s University School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 1971. Mr. Okner was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1971 and before the United States Supreme Court in 1978. In 1994, he was admitted to the Colorado Bar. He is a member of the New Jersey and Sussex County Bar Associations, as well as the New Jersey Defense Association. Mr. Okner was appointed as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association in 1981 and serves as court appointed arbitrator in the Morris/Sussex Vicinage. He served on active duty with the United States Naval Reserve from 1972 to 1974. He is indexed in “Who’s Who in American Law, 9th Edition.”  In 1983, Mr. Okner was certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
